Enjoying a cup of coffee is just one of many reasons to visit the Landtmann. Guests flock here for its welcoming atmosphere and cosy elegance. We, the Querfeld family, have run Café Landtmann for over 40 years. It is our great pleasure to do all we can to preserve such extraordinary quality. Take a seat on one of our original Thonet chairs from the imperial times, or in one of the snug world heritage-protected booths. While doing so you can’t help but being impressed by the artistic inlay work on the walls and the mirrors from the Golden 1920s. These fine jewels are all there to recall the great history of the Cafe Landtmann. Do not expect the Landtmann to be just a typical, old fashioned Viennese coffeehouse - with the modern age. And in the future too, Café Landtmann will remain a cosmopolitan, open and vibrant hub of hospitality.
