Wild Stories from the Suburbs

On the basis of curious, exciting, bloodthirsty or even creepy legends, stories and true events, we wander from scene to scene and take a look at a time when the Vienna Woods still reached the city walls of Vienna. At that time, this area was still known as a truly wild region and residents and travellers had to protect themselves from ravenous animals, notorious robbers, from creatures such as water sprites or eerie, singing and sighing trees. Our stories are also about of the intrepid suburbanites who braved these dangers with courage and cunning.

Today the area is less dangerous, but cosy cafés and pubs invite you to linger. Despite the immediate vicinity of the inner city, the area exudes a sense of "Suburb-charm" between old walls, palaces and municipal buildings.
